SLAGA Fall Picnic 2026

SLAGA Fall Picnic ** Saturday, October 17, 2026

This year's fall picnic will be hosted by Breezy406 (also known as Sandy Gray) at Suson Park.  The park is located at 6073 Wells Road, St. Louis MO  63128.  This is a nice park with lots to offer.  It's  wheelchair accessible, dog friendly, has a fishing lake, a working animal farm and a playground for the kids.  We will be at the Spindler Shelter.

DETAILS:

SLAGA will provide hamburgers, brats, and hotdogs (let me know how many of each you want in your "Will Attend"), along with condiments, plates, napkins and utensils. We ask that you bring a side dish, dessert, or other food to share and your own drinks.  Water will be provided.

 I'm asking that your "Will Attend" log include the information requested below.  I will monitor what people are bringing and post an announcement if I see that we are getting too many salads, desserts, chips, mac & cheese, veggie trays, or whatever.  Of course, feel free to scroll through the logs and get a sense of what others are bringing if you're trying to decide what scrumptious dish you want to bring.     

In your "Will Attend" log, please post the following:

• number of people attending
• how many hamburgers/hotdogs/brats you want
• side dish you are bringing
• job you're willing to volunteer for (note: volunteers get to go through the food line first)

I plan to have a 50-50 drawing, Geo Bingo, Travel Bug Table, IF I can get volunteers to oversee each of these games.

I also have an attendence prize or 2 (or 3) that we will draw from the log sheet.

The prices are as follows:

• SLAGA Premium Member Adults $5.00
• Non-Premium Member Adults $7.00
• Kids 5-12 $3.00
• Kids 4 and under free

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

• 10:15 a.m. - Set up
• 10:30 a.m. - Registration begins
• 12:00 p.m. - Group Photo
• 12:15 p.m. - Lunch begins (Volunteers go first in line)
• 1:00 p.m. - General announcements and business, Milestone Awards, 50-50 winners, GeoBingo game winners, Attendence Prizes and Premium Membership drawing.
• 2:00-2:30 p.m. - Cleanup

As always, volunteers are key to a FUN picnic.  If you are willing to help with any of the following jobs, please include it in your "Will Attend".
